Do I need to ask the seamstress to provide the cups to sew into my dress so I don't have to wear a bra, or do I need to buy them? If so, where do I buy them? Also, do I tip a seamstress that works out of her home? If so, how much?

I used the general rule that if someone owns their own business, I did not tip them. I also used a seamstress who works from her home.
She ordered me a corset that was sewed into my strapless gown. It was $40.

I went by the same rule as Nina did re: tipping. I did get some undergarments through my seamstress. Ask her if she can get you what you are looking for, if not than get it on your own. I found that she charges me less than when I looked on my own.
