I will forward you an email that another 2012 bride forward me for Seamstress/Tailor in Nassau and Suffolk. I still have not called either bc of my weekends with work being too much but she had positive things to say about them both.

I have an amazing seamstress. She worked for Vera Wang for years. She is located in manhattan (not sure if that is too far for you). Let me know if you want her information.

If you're out in Long Island I know of a great little shop. VIP Dry Cleaners in Babylon village. It's steps away from the Babylon train station. the owner's work is amazing. I've had countless BM dresses tailored there. He's taken coats, delicate sweaters, dresses and tops down a full size for me, and he does all of my jean hems (I'm a shorty--he keeps the orig bottoms). My friend from Brooklyn even came all the way out here to use him too. Prices are reasonable as well. :)
