Searching for a RH

Hey ladies,

My fiance and I are about to begin the grand adventure of looking for a RH while on a budget! My list is about...30 halls long (lol) and I was wondering how those of you who already booked or are looking at RH currently did with pricing and how receptive the managers are to you booking so far in advance.

I have this fear that I'm going to go in there and their going to tell me that I'm looking too far in advance even though its only two years away (holy crap!) I'm also afraid that I won't get the best price possible and with the strict budget, I kind of have to.

So what are your experiences and what advice can you give the newbie to the group? I'm clueless..

Good to another 2013 bride...woo hoo....dont be worried that u will be to early ...all RH now are taking 2013 weddings ...and if your on a budget there are months were the prices go up like april and oct. so you know...but when u go and look talk them down too....to get a good price....Good luck!!!!!!!

Dont worry, your right on the ball with timing. My FH and I started looking during the summer and only one RH gave us a hard time about the timing (TOTALLY didn't go back there).

Totally not too early alot of the FH's are booking 2013 dates ( alot of the good dates are booking) that being said if ur plannin in having a wedding during wedding peak time def start looking!!!

I agree with the other ladies that you are fine to start looking around now! I started looking in February and no one gave me a hard time at all!! Happy planning and welcome again to the 2013 board!!

I def do not think it it too early to start looking....If you book now, you will get 2011 prices so why not?

My dad thought I was nuts when I started looking, and it was about 20 months....so you are not alone! Go with your instincts....besides, it can't hurt to start narrowing down your list.

every hall i went to in feb already had 2013 bookings, so you're not too early!
the cheaper months to book are generally dec-feb (except near x-mas and v-day)
i think sundays and fri nights are pretty similar, maybe depending on hall!
