I woke up this morning and I'm all stuffed up! I'm not sure if it's a cold, cats, or seasonal allergies. I do have problems with ragweed, but I'm not around a lot of trees and grass as I live in Queens. Does anyone else suffer from seasonal allergies at this time of the year? I know that ragweed tends to be high around now. In the meantime, I'm typing with one hand and have a tissue in my other hand.

Re: Seasonal Allergies
I don't know what I have but I've been coughing non stop for the past 5 days! I went to the Dr. and he told me that it's not a cold/virus, that it's probably allergies. He gave me some allegra-D which doesnt seem to help much!

Re: Seasonal Allergies
I used to take Claritin-D but since they're OTC my doctor put me on Allegra-D. I agree, Allegra doesn't work very well. When I was on Claritin, allergy season came and went and I didn't notice. I started Allegra last year and felt the allergies come on. My doctor told me to that when my allergies start to act up (around this time of year), just **** up the $20 and buy a box of Claritin. He said that it may be worth the extra money if I feel better. I think I'm going to do that because Allegra doesn't do a **** thing!

Re: Seasonal Allergies
Swags, I agree, it could also be psychosomatic. I return to work next week and am a bit nervous meeting the new students and deal with whatever tricks they have up their sleeves. I'm also not looking forward to getting up at 5:30 in the morning!

Re: Seasonal Allergies
It's RAGWEED season, girls!! It started early b/c of all the rain we've had. Go to pollen.com to register to have your allergy alert emailed to you everyday. Mine is 10.0 on a scale of 1-10 today!
