honestly, i feel that if you are a seat filler the couple should be happy that they are not losing out on the money for the seat that wouldve been empty otherwise. with that said, i think just a card is totally okay. for some liw girls who i invited to meat my min, i received different things/amounts and so appreciative of anything at all.
i was a seat filler recently and gave less than i would have normally. i think a check for anything is fine or something from the registry equal to what you would give
