why is seating so hard? I finally put together my tables but now it's a matter of where to place them. For those of you sitting at a dias did you put the bridal party together? Do you sit family all around you?? HELP

Re: seating??
We did not put our bridal party together. We are having our immediate family near us.

Re: seating??
bride's immediate family at table 1 ... groom's immediate family at table 2 ... and then families are separated on diff sides (all my family is on one side, all of his is on the other)
ETA: oh, and our BP is with people they know (so they're not all together)

Re: seating??
I think it depends on how your tables are set up and who you want sitting next to you if that makes sense.
Our wedding party consisted of his 2 brothers, my 2 SILs and MOH was a good friend and the 3rd GM was MOH's husband. We opted that we wanted our immediate family and MOH & her husband with us. So we paid extra to rent 4 long tables so everyone we wanted to can be with us on our head table.
Everyone else sat at regular round tables around us. Our numbers worked nicely for us so that no one was more than 1 table around us. So it felt like everyone had a good seat!
And we also alternated tables between our sides. We tried not to create a segregation where there was a definitive bride or groom side. Intermingle them! :)

Re: seating??
we are going to seat the BP with who we think would make sense (so no they won't all be sitting together).
We are most likely going to seat immediately family next to our table

Re: seating??
We sat the BP together and then we mixed the tables.
Like my aunts sat with his aunts and my cousins sat at tables with his cousins.
We mixed our couple friends together.
We wanted everyone to mingle and 'become one big family'.
