Seating! Any advice?

We are going to start working on our seating chart this week and i wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on doing it? did you write out the tables as lists or did you make the layout and write the names in?

TIA

I haven't done it yet, but I have heard that a very easy way is to use paper plates as the tables and the little post its (the page markers) with the peoples names on it. That way you can move them as many times and you need to. I guess this would aslo work with labels, but the labels are stickier. Then you can look at your tables and physically arrange them.

That's the easiest way to do it if you think you're going to be moving ppl around alot before the final decision. We used a posterboard and drew out the table scheme so it was easier to see where ppl are placed. We used post its.

I'm going to make note of that so when it's my time to do the seating arrangements this is what I will do! Sounds easy :)
