7 days to go and I'm already doing the seating arrangments. Is it wrong to have an odd number of people in some tables? I find myself with a couple of tables with 11 people. I've tried switching people around but can't seem to find a solution. Is there any rule on how many people (odd or even) should be at one table?

seating arrangements
Not at all. Just arrange it so that the odd person has friends or friendly people to talk to. I had my husband do his side and I had my mom do my side. All I had to do was write it out for the hall. If you have any problems with it, ask your mom or husband to help with each side. Don't forget to ask the MIL's opinion!!!

How do u seat divorced parents who are remarried, at the same table w/ grandparents? How does this work, I don't want any arguements or anyone feeling uncomfortable?

It's probably best to ask them. My MIL said she'd be OK to sit at a head table with her ex and his girlfriend but he said he'd prefer to sit at his mother's table with her family. She ended up hosting a 'head' table with her side of the family tree and he headed another with his side. We put my parents with their close friends - people I'd grown up knowing (no living grandparents on my side) and my brother sat with close friends and cousins - more fun for him.
