How many have to have their parents at opposite sides of the room just so there's no bloodshed?
I do...I promised my dad he wouldn't have to be within earshot of my mom...she makes him nuts.

my FFIL told us he will attend on the condition we seat him at the opposite end of the reception hall from my FMIL

My parents were not too bad. All they ask for were separate tables. They did sit on the same side of the hall though.

I think I prefer them on separate sides of the hall more than they want it... I just know that my dad grits his teeth when my mother, well, acts like herself and that always stresses me out. of course, when picture time comes, my mom grits her teeth when she stands next to him....you should see my communion picture...parents can be even worse than bridesmaids sometimes!
