Seating arrangements

Seating arrangements

So, after watching My Fair Wedding on Sunday, it got me thinking...Are you ladies giving your guests a specific seat at their table or just giving them the table # and letting them choose what seat?

I think every wedding I've been to, we got the place cards with the table # and just sat anywhere.

Just giving them a table # to sit at and let the guests sit where they want at that table.

Just the table number. Seating people in specific seats might be a little too rigid and structured, IMO.

That´s been the case at every wedding I´ve been to as well. That´s what I´m doing.

just gonna give them the table #
gonna have enough on my head of seating at the right tables the right ppl w/o having have to worry about the right seating at the table itself. they can figure this out on their own

I'm just giving them escort cards with the table number and they can choose where to sit at the table. That's just too much work for me to figure out where to seat every person at every table.

Just numbers.

ETA: Although I thought this was interesting, because FH and I went to a wedding once and people sat at the table in a weird way, so FH and I had to end up sitting across from each other.
