Seating Arrangements! Help!

I have not been to any weddings recently so I don't remember.... is 12 really tight at the oblong tables. I'm having my wedding at Chateau Briand and they recommend 10 to 12 at a table. I don't want anyone to be uncomfortable. What do you think?

it depends on the size of the table. Lands End has large oblongs that they say seat 12-14. So without knowing the table, its hard to say.

I don't think anyone will be uncomfortable with 12/table, but if you have the room, leave it at 10. Watermill also has oblong/oval tables 10-12 and I'm going to seat people according to who they know etc. So, some tables might have 10, 11 or 12.

We are having our wedding at Chateau Briand and we are going to seat 10 to a table, we are going to end up having 15 table. We are seating singles together The bridal party and their dates We are sitting by ourselves Happy planning all
