Ok I have to drop off my seating arrangements today because my wedding is a week from today (YIKES!!!!!!!!) I have all my people set up at tables but I have to assign them actual tables and heres my dilemma:
I have 8 tables on my side and 6 on my FH's side. The dance floor is in the middle of the room so it is literally divided in half. Is it ok to have more tables on my side than his or will it look lopsided? Please give me your opinions, I want to make sure I do the right thing.
Thanks! Jenn (the stressing out bride)

i don't think it would be bad if you just did 7 and 7. nor do i think the way you said would be bad. people probably wouldn't even notice.

I would do 7 & 7. My FH has a lot more guests on the list than me so a lot of his guest will be on my side to even it out.

I agree with 7/7 arrangement too, but perhaps you can also put some of your family on his side and vise versa so that its not this one orphan table of one family vs. 6 from the other family?

Re: Seating arrangements...help!!
Thank you all so much. That is what I ended up doing (7/7). There were a couple of people that could go on either side, so I switched them around a little bit and it made it easier.
Thanks again for helping me out. Off I go to give them to the hall...and every last dime to my name too!!

Remember the hall will move the tables any where you want. We had that problem too and we evened it out by having them remove one and move it to the other side...no biggie
