seating arrangments

seating arrangments

I have just bit my nails down to stubs trying to figure out how to do these damn seating arrangements.

If I do it for 10-12 seat tables (which is what i would like to do) it doesn't work out--

If I do it for 6-8 seat tables it might work out but I will have a stupid amount of tables then and I dont want that many...that and I am lazy and dont have it in me to design anymore table numbers..

Re: seating arrangments

We actually had a few tables with 8 and a few with 12 because we needed the range to make it work. I know some of the people at the really 'empty' tables were a little insulted, but c-mon... it's a wedding and it's hard enough to plan as it is!!!!!!!!!

I ended up having to swap a few tables in the end, and put my mom's friends with my work friends, and my cousins and step-siblings and their dates together. It would've been fine except one of my dad's friends' tables ended up losing 4 people the week of the wedding and they were only 6 (the final 2 were the day before because of a death in the family so I couldn't switch anything by then). That kinda stunk... their table was empty about 3/4 of the way through the wedding since they all left early. LOL... what can you do?

I did my seating chart on wedding wire.com and it was super easy. I did some tables with 8 people, others with 10 so if you have some tables with less guests i think you'll be fine.

I can't remember what Ian said that we could do tables with 6-8 ppl or tables with 10-12 ppl...so you were able to mix them up?
