Ok so I havnt even send out my STDS yet and I have a little under a year to go but I am already thinking about the seating chart. I have friends that dont talk to each other so I cant put them at the same table even though they all have mutual friends and one of the friends that doesnt talk to another girl said she will sit with her because its about my FH and I and not about them ( LOVE HER!) and my aunt and uncle got divorced (after 35 years) and my uncle has a gf so thats a different table but thats my dads brother so I want them to sit together but then I dont want my aunt to sit alone cause her children are in my bridal party and will be sitting with there significant others at the bridal party table. I feel like putting everyone that doesnt talk in the hallway lol

Seating chart craziness
I know this is going to be annoying. I am trying not to think about it until I have a final head count. We discussed not having a bridal party table. We are mixing them in with our other friends.

I would place everyone where you wanted to (except your Aunt and Uncle- out of respect for her feelings) and let them deal with it They're all grown!!! If they can't sit next to each other for a few hours then they should just sit in the hall like you said

haha..I like the hallway idea. I have a very similar situation and I am making sure people who dont talk are separted but I am not worrying about who knows who and who doesn't. I am not putting bridal party at their own table I am mixing them in because I prefer that personally. Good luck!!

I def wouldn't start worrying about seating yet. When the time comes my advice would be to make a seating chart the way it works for you and do not ask for others opinions or who they want to sit with. I had people like can I sit with this one or that one and in the nicest way I just said that it was already made. With everything that is going on during the final weeks before the wedding I was NOT going to let this stress me out!

ugh I was thinking about this too! There are issues within FH's family so we can't sit his parents and grandparents together (UGH!) and then I have one group of friends that is all family but I don't think will fit at one table (MOH's hubby is one of 6 and I'm friends with his whole family lol). I'm tempted just to tell them to sit where they want I don't care!!

Re: Seating chart craziness
I know how you feel! I have some drama between friends also that is pretty bad and I can't seat certain people at the same tables. I hope they can all make it to the wedding but if one or two of them can't make it then it will make seating charts a lot easier lol so i'm trying to not even think about it until its absolutely necessary!

ITA. I am doing the same. When I was dating my ex, his sister had a table that ONLY had BP (not even sig others) so I had to sit at a table with his extended family that I didn't really know at the time. I was so annoyed. His mom tried telling me that East Wind demanded the tables be set that way but I knew it was BS and of course years later I know I am right bc I am getting married at East Wind!!
Anyway sorry to tangent... so that's a big part of the reason I am not doing a BP table.
