seating chart display

Hey there,

Has anyone thought about a seating chart display for their wedding? I love the idea and have not seen it before at a wedding. However, it is crazy expensive at the places I've priced it. I was thinking of a little DIY project but I'm not sure I can swing it. See below.

Does anyone know where you could get one of these for a reasonable price? Is the word Reasonable just officially out of discussions about wedding lol?

That really pretty and different too, that looks like too big of a DIY project for me only bc am not crafty

Im doing one bc i think they are pretty but i am also doing place cards too.
I have heard with seating charts it ends up being a big cluster of people crowded around to read it.. thats why I want the cards too.

I LOVE these too!!! I only priced one place .... around $800 to 'rent'. If you have other places you priced, please FM!

I have priced around $350 to rent which I still think is not worth it! Where did you order the poster cheap? TKS

I like the both idea. Maybe christmzs tree stote or michaels sell a z big frame to do it yourself. Does anyone know ig they sre hung or sit on a table??????

I don't know where you have checked so far, but I know Dazzling Affairs in Massapequa does them, did you try there?

I love these but I can't do this because some of the people from FH work will not know until a day or two before the wedding if they will get off to come to the wedding! Boo.

I love this idea too, but I would definitely try to DIY. I was quoted some crazy money for these things...up to $1000+ for renting the easel and frame!

Okay so I am going to attempt to make it myself. I went to Michaels and bought a ton of crystals. I still need to do research as to printing. I'm going to see if I can borrow a frame...but the easel!! What do I do about the easel?!!! Do you think the hall will have one? I can't imagine hanging/leaning it- that spells disaster.
