What do you girls think? I was at the florist today doing my invitations and they had the seating charts set up on the stand in a beautiful frame. My mom loved the idea and I think I do too. This way people aren't looking on the table for their names and don't have all those cards hanging out on the tables when they get into the room.
Thoughts???

I love the chart! But I am not having it. My mom thinks too many ppl will forget where their seats are.

I want to do both. I love the seating chart and especially wanted it since we're naming our tabes...was going to include the floor plan. But we decided the expense wasn't worth it for us. We already have the escort cards and this way everyone at the table will know the name of their neighbors.

I just like cards because then people can save their seats with them at the tables and I know people like to do that.
The charts are very nice and elegant though.

my friend did a really cool thing for her wedding, she made fabric covered boards and strung ribbon across them horizontally and hung the cards from there....sort of a cross between the two ideas, they weren't laid out on a table, but you took your card off the board....
it looked beautiful too....i'm thinking of doing it

i like the seating chart. thats wat we're doing. fil's said that people might forget where they are sitting. i think if people are going to forget where they are sitting, and cant remember the table name for two minutes.... well maybe they shouldnt be coming by themselves if their memory is that shot....
