FH and I are finally doing the seating chart. There is one table on either side of us. We figure our parents want to sit with their respective family members. So, should we put our parents on each side of us with their own family members? Where do we put our BP? Also, should we sit siblings in the BP with the BP? TIA!
What I did was I put my DH family that was in the BP one side and my family in the BP on the other side. I sat the parents with there brother and sister.
We had our parents and the closest family they wanted to sit with to our sides.. then we had two tables in front of us.. which had our BP, siblings and closest friends
We had my parents sit with my mom's side of the family as opposed to my dad's side (b/c they only see them 2x a year) and DH's parents sat with his brother, sister, bro-in-law, niece and some of the parents' friends. Neither of my ILs are close with their families so they wanted to sit w/ friends. As for the BP, we didn't keep them at the same table... they all sat w/ the people they are closest to. Friends sat w/ other friends, family members sat w/ other family members, etc.
