seating chart question? hellllp please (repost)

Has anyone made a poster sized seating chart instead of doing escort cards?

Im making one but im at a loss what to do??

should i put each name individually

mr. smith...table 1
mrs. smith......table 1

or mr. and mrs. smith......table 1
mr. smith and guest......table 1

please help... my time is running out quickly and i still have to get it done and printed

I would put

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith ......... Table 1

Mr. John Smith and Ms. Anna James ..... Table 2 (if it's Mr. Smith and Guest)
