In regards to seating I know my parents friends well enough that I know who to seat with who. FIL's family and friends are a different story. Are you taking suggestions from them on who to seat where? are you letting them pick who sits with who and where they sit? I dont want to cause any unnecessary drama with FMIL but she wants to have some tables with less than 10 people and I feel why have extra centerpieces if that could be avoided. FMIL also wants to use all the tables up near us for famliy and friends and have the groomsmen sit down near the dj. I really want them near us since my bridesmaids are sitting right next to us. Please help me. TIA.

I think that unless the BP is sitting with family they should be the first two tables by the bride and groom, then come the parents and immediate family. I'm not too sure what I'm doing yet.
I think you can ask for suggestions but realize if your asking for suggestions your opening the door for people telling you exactly what to do.

Adriana I totally agree with suggestions would be great but then I feel like I will be over powered.

i plan to give the FILs and my parents the parameters (e.g. you have 5 tables of 10) and let them do their own guests.

My fiance and I are doing the chart together. We aren't opening it up for discussion and or debate as I am sure it would get out of hand. We fill try and fill the tables where we can to prevent the extra tables and save money on CP... I am keeping my family together, his family together, friends of various groups together...We will accomodate one wacky request from one of his relatives as they had a 'falling out'...But they wll be in the table right next to the other family table...
