So, we are at 147 yes' right now. There are still 60 outstanding responses!
If we reach capacity at 200 people, we will not be able to have a sweetheart table. Not that I mind that, but I am confused then who we should sit with.
My friend had long rectangle tables at her wedding and sat with the entire bridal party and it worked. But, we have 5 BM's and 6 GM's with dates, so there are way too many to fit.
I am completely confused who to sit with if this happens!

Re: Seating Dilemma
Talk to your hall, they may be able to work with you. We spoke to our hall the other day when we realized that we may be reaching max capacity also. They said that they would put 12-14 at a table by using different tables.

Re: Seating Dilemma
How about a long table with you, FH and both sets of parents and any siblings or Aunts/Uncles with their dates/spouses?

That's a good idea!

My parents are divorced, so that won't work. I think the space problem would be there anyway with a long table. We will have to figure out some friends to put with us I think.

Re: Seating Dilemma
I would try to leave it where you sit alone, for now, work on getting bigger tables for the guests and then if need be, share your table. That should be your last option IMO.

Re: Seating Dilemma
I have over 20 with the BP and their guests.....I am doing two tables of BP with guests...I'm not a fan of the sweetheart table. Maybe that's an idea for you to consider.......

I agreee with this. Leave it for now so that you and FH sits alone and then you can figure it out after.

Re: Seating Dilemma
We are sitting at our own table, FH and I. Our bridal party is sitting with their wives, BF, or GF. I would sit just the two of you. Bridal party tables can be annoying. We went to a wedding and this girl sat with us. No one knew who she was till the end b/c she just sat and didnt talk. She was a grooms mens wife. She was so uncomfortable. JMO.
