My mother must have all her friends at the same tables and can't move any of them. Meanwhile I'm stuck with a table of just 5 people. Someone must be moved! I swear I can't even deal with this right now. I'm paying for the freakin wedding and I'll put them where I want to! Ugh! Vent over.

OMG, you can't even imagine the screaming and drama going back and forth with my mother right now. She wants me to move MY friends at MY wedding that I'M paying for! She's got to be kidding me. Seriously just had 3 breakdowns. FH doesn't even know what to say to me.

Just 'yes' your mom to death and make her think you are going to listen to her. Then just sit them wherever you want. Your mom prob won't even notice on the day of the wedding.

just tell her 'yes mom, they'll sit at the same table' then switch it. tell her the rh couldnt have a table of 5..... doesnt sound like u have any other choice.

OMG - fmil is doing the same thing!!! She has one table of 11 one of 7 - im really irritated by this! To make matters worse - FH takes her side on the situation!
