Seating List Format

Seating List Format

So I'm trying to start making an alphabetical seating list for not only my RH, but for my calligrapher as well. How do I FORMAT the list so that each invitee is listed with their guest? For example, if I invited Jane Doe and Guest, and when Jane replied, she told me her boyfriend's name is Joseph Smith, do I list them separately on the alpha list for the RH although they're obviously going onto the same place card?

I have made an excell spead sheet. This ishow I would do it:

smith, Jane ........JOnes, mike
Stewart, Mr and Mrs
Summa, Joe
Teague, Lisa........Smith, john

etc.

I would put the +1 on the same line so the placecards had both their names on it.

How would you title the columns? And would you make one up for the suffix (ie. Miss)?

How would you indicate the 'guest' for somebody who didn't provide a guest's name?

Formatting things perfectly and exactly is an OCD quality of mine.

Or. . .another idea. Could somebody FM me or e-mail me a file they used? I'm trying to figure out the best way on Excel to do this.

. . .or maybe I should just e-mail the calligrapher, too. Huh. . .
