alrighty girls... about to start this lovely wedding planning project so far, i'm goin nuts... mom wants her and dad to sit with all her brothers and they're families... problem is... that totals about 16 people at a 10 person table! but if i take the kids out and put them at their own table, thats 6, but then there would be 4 empty spots at the 'kids' table.... and theres not really any similar aged kids i could 'fill it' with... GRR!!! any tips on how to do this without goin nuts or getting people upset???

You hall can probably accomodate a large table. My cousin's grandmother has 8 borthers and sisters and they all wanted to sit together, their families too. So the hall put one really huge long table for them.

I agree. Either have the hall try and accomadate you with one large table or have the adults and one table and the kids at another. Who cares if there are only 6 of them. I had the exact same thing at my wedding and you know what?? The table was empty all night anyway b/c they were all up dancing/talking to people at other tables/ running around/etc. The only time they were all seated was during dinner.

yes, we're doing mixes of tables seating 8 , 10 and 12. check w/ your hall, see if they can do it

I'd check...thehall could probably put a very large table together...or go with jsut 6 at table...
