does it still work after you give somebody another opportunity?

i think this is an incredibly broad question...

Re: second chances

If you are talking about relationships, it all depends. I think you have to be a bit more specific.

In my own personal experience - it doesn't.

It depends on what you are giving them a second chance on? does that make sense?

Re: second chances

I've had one second chance relationship fail miserably. And I've had another second chance relationship end in my marriage! So it definitely depends upon the reasons why the first time went wrong, whether those things changed, and whether you trusted that change.

I personally think it all depends on the situation. If he or she was cheating no way. But in other cases maybe.

that's more specific, second chances when you cheat, not worth it?

I ended up marrying my second chance!!

I don't think there is a clear black or white answer to this question - on any level. Only you know the situation and if you think it is worth another try.

I'm currently back w/ a 2nd chance and things have been amazing...however, w/ ex hubby we tried to get back but lets just say there were some issues there that we couldn't get past. The trust was lost & no matter how hard we tried, that hurt & mistrust was still there. However, even w/ cheating, I think maybe w/ counseling & with both parties truly willing to move forward & get past the hurt & mistrust, perhaps it could work. Again it all depends on the specifics & how both parties feel & how committed they are to making it work.

FM me any q's.

i agree...

then again..it depends on the situation

Re: second chances

That's a tough question. I agree it depends on the situation. If it's cheating, I feel the person who has been cheated on has to decide if they can forgive the other person, trust them again, and move on... which is very difficult to do.
If they cant move on, it's going to become something that eats away at them AND will constantly be brought up arguments which will stress the relationship even further.
