second dress fitting with pics
I had nightmares about my veil matching and the length of my dress.
Well, nightmares are GONE. The veil I picked matched perfect and looks great with my dress. I was afraid that the back would get lost and it didn't, or it would be TOO much, it's not. As a matter of fact, someone asked where I got veil as it was perfect!
Some of you know I got a second dress because I thought the first was traditional blah blah..had doubts..but let me tell you, when I had the first on, I got sad I got second dress WHICH IS A GOOD THING.
Ladies who have doubts, when you try on the whole ensemble, it MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
I had everyone oohing and ahhing and raved about my jewelry. Meanwhile, DOJ was cheap.
I am also relieved that the length is not an issue!!! It is going to be fine. I was so afraid that I would have to cut into design and I DON'T..YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My only concern is I have very slim thigh/butt area. I can't take too much out of that area due to design (only about an inch). But they said they can add crinolyn (sp) to butt area if I want. I also noticed it was not tied tight enough in back (my FMIL tied it) and that might make a diff too.
These pics do not do any justice due to lighting and camera (plus when you are up high and it's taken from below, bad).
I also liked that they said they would do fitting in January if I'd like no problem. I know some places won't start early and I liked that (March wedding).
