Any of you ladies having a second dress to slip into during the reception for comfort??
I am considering to do this so I can dance a little bit more comfortably....

Re: Second Dress to change into
I'm not changing into another dress, but I seriously considered it after seeing the perfect 2nd dress! I was on the pronovias site (i have the uceda dress from the 2013 collection) and saw on their 2014 collection that the pronovias lagate dress was the cutest short dress!! I would love to go and try and it on just to see, but I don't think I could justify spending more money on a dress, because the first one was alot to begin with
Nope. My dress was over $2,000. I'm wearing every penny out of it LOL

Re: Second Dress to change into
I originally purchased a second dress for the reception. However, my fiance and I had to postpone our wedding due to job losses. Now we're getting married in 33 days and I'll be getting married in my reception dress at the courthouse. I can't wait.
So when we do have the formal ceremony and reception next year, I will have new reception dress to wear. I love my wedding dress, but I want something little more sexy for the reception. Besides, I spent under $1500 for both dresses. The choice is totally up to you. Enjoy the rest of your planning.

No I don't want to. The way I look at it, it's the one time I can wear a dress completely different from everyone else and especially on my wedding day I want to stand out.

I got a really comfy dress that is not too heavy and does not have a train so I will be in the same dress all night!

I might have contemplated it because I want to be comfy but that's part of the reason I chose the dress that I did, because it's very light weight and comfortable so no need to change!

I always wanted to do this but after seeing how much wedding dresses costs I figure I'd keep it on the whole time. But my dress is kind of 'convertable'. The overlay on the top comes off to give it the look of a second dress and I plan on changing my hair after dinner.

Nope -- Obsessed with my dress and I am constantly looking at pictures of it. I totally get why people do it, but like the other girls said, this is your one day to wear that special gown.
