So, I had my second fitting yesterday! I got the dress zipped..whooohoooo! But...they didn't put the bustle in correctly, so they are keeping the dress another week to correct it (urgh)! Plus..they managed to get a black stain on the bottom front part of the dress (Thanks, David's!). Supposedly they're gonna fix that too! We'll see! Oh-and while I was there I tried on a new veil...which I friggin LOVE!!! i already have one, but I am sooo close to buying THIS one! Do you guys like it? This is how it will look when the bustle is corrected!

No! I sooo wanted to get a beaded one, I found some on etsy...but they were $$$
My BM's loved the sash...but I am still on the fence! I hate how the bow is sooooo limp!

I see what you're saying... Can they just sew it to the dress and stop it in the back?? That way it is covering that seam you were talking about but doesn't have that looooow long bow in the back. I don't know if that makes any sense.

I've actually been thinking about that! Making it more of a belt..and less of a saggy bow! I am afraid that it wont look right and then I'll be stuck with it lol..I am scared to change the dress and then end up hating it more ... grrrrrrr

Maybe.... have them try making the end of the sash a belt. How much would they really have to cut off? Then if you don't like the way it looks with a belt the sash would be shorter which I think might be better than having it so long. Or do they have a belt at David's you could just try, even if the colors isn't right to get an idea of the look?

You're not a pain...I LOVE your ideas! lol I didn't see any belts last time I was there, but when I go to the next fitting I will def. look for one! I will ask the seamstress about making it shorter too! I wanted to ask her yesterday, but the 2 BM's I was with love the sash the way it is..and talked me into it again...and now I'm back to where I was lol
