I have been teaching 3rd grade for five years and I have been moved to 2nd this year. I'm looking for suggestions on grade level author studies and possibly some creative ideas that you may have used for second grade. TIA!!!

Re: Second grade teachers!
I taught 3rd grade for a few years and last year was moved to 2nd.I loved 2nd.... As a grade we chose from Cynthia Rylant, Arnold Lobel(frog and toad series), Ezra Jack Keats, Jow Cowly( for lower lever students), and Kevin Henkes.....I will post again if I remember more.
