So I am looking at my DOJ and I am not liking it much anymore. I am second guessing everything!! I have a strapless sweetheart dress, and now I am thinking to get rid of the necklace, and just go with regular drop earrings.
If you have a similar neckline did you go with a necklace and earrings, or just earings?
Ok so went to Lord & Taylor and purchased these.....
(Please don't quote since I will take down the pic of me in my current DOJ)
And I am going to look for choice 3 as well...they didn't have them in store only on the website. And will compare and contrast them with the dress. lo

It really depends on the style that you're going for - but I personally love the simplicity of a sweetheart neckline, and drop earrings. I'd go with choice 1 --- how are you wearing your hair?

I really like #3.
I have a strapless gown with a sweethear neckline and had a very hard time deciding on DOJ. I must have bought (and returned) about 5 different sets. I finally decided on a delicate necklace and small drop earrings. All the 'bolder' necklaces I tried on just didn't look right with my dress.

I am wearing my hair half up half down. I love 1 too...but I don't know if i can bring myself to spend $100 on just earrings. lol.

Ahh okay, in that case I would go with just drop earrings (make sure they're a big longer/chunkier and no necklace. This way all eyes are on your pretty face
Yeah I know what you mean about the earring price, I still can't believe how much I spent on mine lol

My mom says just wait and see how it looks with your dress..which isn't until Sept 14. I'd like to have a backup option to try on with it as well to see which looks better.
My current DOJ unfortunately I can't return, which stinks.

So Macy's has a lot of really nice options similar to the looks you want. I'm gonna look some up for you now - and with those, you can return up to like 3 or 6 months..I'll look for you now. Uno secundo

i like the original earrings that you have. it's different. i had a strapless and didn't wear a necklace. it's your preference but i think it looks nice w/o one

I have a sweetheart neckline and had a hard time debating whether I should wear a necklace or not, and once I tried on the dress, I decided it would look best wo it. I am going to just wear chandelier earrings.

Drop the necklace and go for earrings
Go look at Lord and Taylor with a coupon. Their Nadri jewelry line has a bunch of great dramatic earrings for like $60 a piece regularly. You can use coupons on them. You can usually print coupons right from their website.
