Second guessing dress-cont.

I posted here a couple of weeks ago saying I was second guessing my dress choice. I had a short engagement and just felt rushed.

I had decided to just live with my decision because I didn't want to deal with selling the dress and it was already paid in full. But while I was in my 'indecision mode' I had desperately scoured the internet for another dress. WELL...I just received an email today with an offer for a brand new Eve of Milady for $1500. I don't know what to do!!!!!

I'll probably go try it on and see if I TRULY love it. Maybe that will help me make my decision. I think it's just the $$$ I've already spent on the first dress that is killing me.

I'm attaching copies of both dresses. 1st is the one I have. 2nd is the EOM.

I like them both!

I say don't even try on the 2nd one. The first one is gorgeous and you will look gorgeous in it!!!!!
They are also too similar for you to be go through all that trouble again! JMO

The are both so pretty! I agree with FLaCaTaCa.....the dresses are very similar. Stop driving yourself crazy! You are going to look so beautiful!

The second dress is a ballgown, which I lOVE. But you girls are probably right. If I try on the second dress it will just make me more stressed!

Can you were a slip under the first one to make it more 'ballgowny'? They are very similar! And beautiful!

You're dress is beautiful..

I felt the same way about mine as well. Fortunately, I went and tried it on again. It reminded me of why I had bought it the first place.

So definitely go back and try it on again before you try the other dress.

I bought the sample...and the hem cannot be lowered. so, the option of putting a fuller slip underneath is out.

i did go back to the shop and look at the dress yesterday. no doubt...it is beautiful. what i might do is get a slightly lower heel and then have the seamstress add a layer or two of tulle to add a little more fullness.

I agree...the dresses do look very similar. I just love to drive myself crazy!!! But you know how it is...you just want to look perfect on your wedding day.
