Second guessing everything

Second guessing everything

Now that the day is drawing near, I have second guessed everything. Did I pick the right dress? Did I pick the right videographer? Did I pick the right church? Did I pick the right tiara? AAGH. I know I did, but it's such a big day, so everything must be perfect, we only have one shot. So far I have already changed my wedding date and rehearsal dinner date. I can't change anything else. Does anyone else do this?

i think it's completely normal to second-guess yourself. you're spending a lot of $$ of this day and you want it to be perfect!!! you hear other girls rave about this vendor or that one and you think 'why didn't i go with them'. my photographer is not super-popular on this site, so every once in a while i freak, but then i go to their website and fall in love with their work all over again!!! so yes, i do second-guess, but at this point i haven't changed anything!!

Don't feel bad I already changed my wedding gown, changed my florist, changed my hair stylist and hair style, and changed my bakery. All that is left is changing the groom

In all honesty, I think it's because when I first got engaged I thought I had to pick everything right away. Now, that months have gone by and I've done some research, I realized that I made some mistakes. I don't think that as soon as we get our engagement ring, we have to rush out and pick everying...IMO.

I've second guessed everything also, and you're right, we all want this day to be perfect. However, I'm not going to change anything because first instincts are always the right ones (at least with me that's the way it goes).

What you're feeling is totally normal.

Fret not sweetie we all do it, its just the nerve, stop looking at stuff, once you have made your decision, this helped me greatly. All the best

I too do this, it's normal

Remember the reason you chose them in the first place

Thank goodness it's not just me! I always try to remember why I chose something and I remember oh yeah, it just felt right. My nerves are just acting up because the date is getting closer.

Yup! Me too. The only things I SERIOUSLY second guessed were my photographer (just because not a lot of people have used her), and my florist (until she made me a sample and I felt SO much better).

I used to second-guess the dress a LOT, until my first fitting the other day. Now I'm SO, SO happy with it. It's perfect and I love it.

I DID change my Tiara, though, a few months ago.

It's normal!

Re: Second guessing everything

Don't worry, we're all second guessing ourselves. But, there's a reason you fell in love with the dress..the florist...the everything the first time:) Don't worry, everything will turn out great. Unless you're hearing horror stories about any of your vendors don't worry...just remember why you picked the stuff in the first place. If you really aren't happy with one thing, change it...but if it's just jitters...don't stress
