Ok so my train is super long. A few months ago I was talked into getting a cathedral veil. My veil is a little longer than my train (the veil is 12 ft ). I'm beginning to think the cathedral veil + cathedral train is going to look silly in an outdoor ceremony. If I was having a church ceremony, I would be totally fine with a super long veil/train but I feel like I'm overdoing it since its a outdoor ceremony.
Does anyone else have a big dress with big veil and not having a church wedding???

I had a cathedral veil for my outdoor ceremony! DH said it looked amazing when I came out and it started blowing in the wind! Don't think it was overkill at all!
i think it's beautiful regardless of where your ceremony is.

Re: Second Guessing My Cathedral Veil...help!
i had an outdoor ceremony and a cathedral veil! I had fingertip in mind the whole time until I tried on my veil and loved the drama of it. I thought it was beautiful with my dress and looked great in pictures~

I am getting a cathedral length veil also, and hoping to do a outdoor ceremony. I was worried the veil would get lost in the dress if it was too short, so I am more comfortable with long
