Just reading everyone's post is making me second guess my own dress. I loved it when I tried it on, but is have been so long since. Technically, I could try it on a again since its in my closet but I dont want to runt he risk of ruining it somehow. I am not going to look for anotehr but everyone on here has such gorgeous dresses.

I'm with you. It doesn't help that the model that they have wearing my dress in the picture looks pretty damn miserable. I haven't seen my dress since Feb. and it wion't be in for another week I'm sure your dress is lovely and looks beautiful on you! Don't worry!

Thanks! Same with yours. My model looks so ugly - doesnt do the dress justice

I felt the same way and I went back to the shop where I got it and tried the sample on again, I said to the woman this is not the dress I ordered, she said yes it is, I was so excited, I LOVED it again. So you should look at it again, and if you know fh is not going to be home for a while try it on again, you will fall in love with it!

This is SO common!!! The first dress I tried on was the one I fell in love with. Even though I tried on about 20 dresses on that day. Something brought me back to that dress. I even went to 2 other places to try them on w/ other friends. And I ordered it. When it cam closer to the time for the place to put the order through. I asked them if they got any new dresses in that maybe I should look. The lady had me put on my dress again. My smile went ear to ear & I said 'never mind this is my dress' And the woman agreed.

I've been losing sleep over this whole dress thing. I started crying the other night to my FH telling him I think I rushed myself and should have held out until I found a ballgown dress. He just looked at me like I was crazy. He said it wouldn't matter if i showed up in PJs that day...the only thing he cares about is marrying me.
Even though his words are sweet and sincere...I'll probably still worry up until the walk down the aisle!

I am on my 3rd dress. The 1st was a bad choice rushing, the 2nd--the bridal salon.. made a mistake and decided, they could not sell it to me-AFTER I PURCHSED IT. THe 3rd..I am in love with.
3rd times....the charm. You will know if the dress is really for you. It will start shinning and glowing...when you put it on.
