Second Hand Dresses

Does anyone know of any places that sell second-hand bridal gowns? Anywhere--LI or NYC is fine.

THe Bridal Garden in NYC sells gorgeous couture gowns at markedly reduced prices -- belleepoque got her amazing ulla maija there.
Also, believe it or not, ebay.

Me! I bought it for $700 + tax and I am asking $500. I normally wear a dress size 8. It hasn't been worn, only tried on. I got neurotic and bought another gown and wasn't able to return this one.

All the sample dresses at the Wedding Center in Commack are $99. They have hundreds, in all sizes. Print this out to get the samples that are usually 1/2 off for $99. Most looked brand new.

I found this great site that has TUNS of pre-owned dresses. you buy from the original owner. It has them listed by size and price and has pics of every dress.

Do a search for Michaels Consignment Shop in Manhattan - I think on the Upper East Side. THey have a HUGE selection of second hand dresses!

Also, the Bridal Garden in Manhattan - donates all proceeds to charity.

Sample Room by the Gown Company has alot of samples as welll....

Like Deb said I got my dress at The Bridal Garden. There were a combination of previously worn dresses and ones donated by different salons and designers.
