So Ladies... I've been putting it off but I think it might be time to take on a second job. Weddings are extremely expensive! The only thing I am concerned with is finding something that is flexible so that I can work nights and weekends. I also work in Manhattan so that's another battle I am facing. Anyone else considering a second job?

I've thought about it also. Like you, I also work in the city so I would only be able to work on the weekends

Re: Second Job
I too am thinking of a second job Definitely not too thrilled about it. I don't want to go into debt because of this wedding especially since FH and I are paying the bulk of this wedding ourselves. I'll be looking for a per diem job, once or twice a month to start off if possible.

Re: Second Job
i took a second job last year at this time. i worked retail... hallmark.
if you work retail or in a restaurant... they will LOVE that you want to work only nights and weekends.
good luck to you all

Re: Second Job
Well if a second job means minimizing debt... I guess we have no choice ladies.
I am definitely going to consider retail. I've looked into evening office work but there isn't much. =/ And all of the temp agencies I work with have nothing!
