So I got a second job yesterday.... just a little extra cash for the wedding. I'll be doing serving for catering companies. Its great because I can work whenever weekend I want but don't have to work a set schedule. Wish me luck, tomorrow is my first party, i'm a bit nervous but also excited!!!

My friend at work does it but she found the job through Craigslist. I would totally recommend it to you but I live in Philly and don't think you would want to travel that far for a part time job!!

congrats! as soon as i read this i was like 'wow i have to find out where shes working!' then i saw that u are in philly lol ...i need a part time job to make extra money for weekends (but i dunno if i want to be tied down to EVERY weekend)

It won't be so bad...FH does that on the weekends and I did for a while too...I think I'm going to need to start that up again...every little bit helps...Good Luck!!

So last night was the first night, I got home around 1am and worked my butt off. It was definetely hard work. We served a bar mitfah and the mother tipped all the servers $20 how awesome is that, there were a ton of us too. Anyway I now will have a new appreciaion for the servers on my wedding day now that I know how hard it is. i'm used to sitting at a desk for eight hours! I'll definetely do it again and hopefully it becomes routine. Wish this opportunity was available in Long Island because they definetely need to hire more people!
