I just got engaged and this will be my second marriage. I dont want anything big and crazy, anyone else on here getting married for the second time? Please let me know what you are doing! I would love some ideas!!!

although this is my second marriage it is my first real wedding...first time a judge married me...long story...so I may not be much help bu....lol
have you tossed around any ideas like a destination wedding with a few close friends...or a sit down dinner at an intimate restaurant????

This is my second marriage, but my FH's first, and he really wants to go all out, hence the big wedding. I personally would have preferred to do a Hawaii destination wedding, but it is what it is. You have to go with what you feel as far as your wedding is concerned. Just because it isn't your first wedding doesn't mean it's not AS special as the first one... For some of us it's even MORE special!

This is my second marraige but DH's first. I would have been okay with a small destination wedding but DH wanted the whole kit and caboodle. Now after the wedding I am SO glad that we did not listen to me. It was so special and why not go all out when you are marrying the person you are supposed to be with!!

I agree with the 2 pps. I wanted to go to Mexico with just immediate family and that idea got the big fat NO! FH has never been married and since his family is gynormous he wanted the BIG wedding. Now that our wedding has exploded-FH promised that for our 1 year anniversary we could go to Mexico and renew our vovs. I totally agree with Novia09-this time its even more special and I cant wait.

This is my 2nd marriage, but FH 1st. I really didnt want a whole wedding thing at first but since FH never had it we decided to do it. I am so glad to be doing it now. Its so much better than the 1st time, FH is involved in all the planning and we are doing it the way we want, not the 'traditional' way. I am not regretting 1 min of this.
