Second thoughts................................ dress related
OK so I have been having second thoughts about my dress since I ordered it, The dress weighs 40lbs, I have a physical weight restriction where I can't carry more than 10lbs.I thought that as my day got closer I would be happy I bought a 'Bridey' dress.... I now feel as though my dress doesn't 'fit' w/ the feel of the wedding we want. I feel like I've put so much on my appearence that I won't be able to enjoy my wedding. My dress hasn't come in yet (It'll be here in Oct.) ... What do I do?
BM dress shopping was not so much fun last night It was a bit of a fiasco One of my BM'sgot STUCK in a dress, the shop girl zipped her in the dress... After 35min. of trying to unzip it they had to cut the dress. The woman was so rude, to top it all off... My wedding is 9 months away & I'm freaking about dresses:
*** PIC IS ANOTHER LIW w/ the same dress, I don't have a great front view of me in the dress
Re: Second thoughts................................ dress related
I have a back problem so the weight of my dress was definitely an issue when ordering. Does the dress FEEL like you are carrying 40lbs? Is there a way to have the train be altered to make it detachable when you get your alterations done?
Can you get a second, much lighter, and perhaps 'cheap' dress to wear incase the dress becomes an issue throughout the day? A dress you wouldnt HAVE to use unless you wanted/needed to? You could disapear into the bridal suite real quick and put it on and then dance with your then DH to a slow song to make it look like it was all planned out.
I am less than 7 months out i believe and i do not have a bm dress picked out. you've got 9 months... you're FINE!!

I'm sorry michelle you are going through this..personally i love your dress and think you look gorgeous in it! but ultimately you have to look and feel comfortable in it..and if its that heavy maybe its not the dress for you....i wish i could give you an easy answer but this is a difficult situation..good luck in whatever you decide, im sure it will be for the best..

honestly, I'm beginning to think it's normal to second guess your dress. Your dress is beautiful and it can really fit into any theme, it's very elegant and classy. Don't be sad!
