second thoughts on dress

second thoughts on dress

Ok Ladies....I bought my dress a little less then a month ago and loved it when I put it on and so did my family. Only thing is it was completely different then what I had thought I wanted. Not bad different just different..

All I can think about recently is the dress and if I made the right decision. I really just want to go back and try it on to check and calm my nerves but do you think they will let me? I got it at Kleinfelds..I'm afraid they will be pissy that I want to come back just to try it on not to purchase anything.

What do you think? what should I do????

It's your dress this is the only time you are going to wear the prefect dress you need to feel that it is prefect. Do what you have to do to ease your mind and to try a dress on can't hurt

I actually very recently went through the same thing. I bought my gown at Kleinfeld too. I absolutely loved it, but then started seeing gowns in different styles and started to doubt mine a little. I called up just to ask them if I could try it on again. They were extremely nice and asked if I wanted to try on others as well. I didn't expect that, but figured it would be smart to do considering I ordered mine back in January.

As soon as they pulled my dress out again, I didn't even really need to try on any other dresses because I love it so much. I did though just to get it out of my system. haha. You may just need to go there to re-confirm that you picked your dress for a reason.

Good luck!

Thank you so much...I was more concerned that because it is Kleinfelds they would not want to take the time to let me just try it on again. I am going to call them tomorrow morning!! thank you!!!!!!

What is their policy if I do decide it is not the right dress...I know once it is in production its yours...but you said you ordered in January...did they say you still could pick a new one if need be?

No problem! Yes I think because my wedding was still so far away when I ordered it in January that it still was not in production. She told me that if I wanted to try on other dresses, I just had to put in writing that I wanted to put my dress order on hold so they could confirm that with the designer. Very simple. I did that and made sure that my pricing and everything would still be held if I did decide to stay with my dress, and it does.

If you do end up liking another one more than yours, your dress credit will be put towards your new order. In my case, since I kept the dress, I just had to sign that I wanted to take mine off hold.
