Second Wedding

I am starting to plan my wedding. It is the second wedding for both my fiance and I. I have 2 kids and he has none. I would like to wear a wedding dress again and have a small affair at a hall. Not sure where to start. I would like to have my kids be a part of the ceremony also. I need any suggestions on dresses, the ceremony etc.

I love big poufy wedding dresses! But I think that sleek dresses are really beautiful and elegant for a second wedding (or first, if that's your style!)

- My first suggestion is to set a budget then go from there.
- Then decide on the number of guests.

That way that should help you narrow down your options.

Then you can choose the location/atmosphere of the place you want, etc.

Since that was both our second wedding, we had a wedding on a smaller scale (number of guests).

My dress was an A-line. Not too puffy! But most of all, go to a store and try on EVERY style. You never know what will look good on you. Mine was ivory but only because white did not look good on me. My skin is too fair.

i, also, agree that you should start with a budget.

what i found to help a lot was... sit down and write EVERYTHING you would consider to be your dream wedding.

once you have that image, you can then figure out what you can reasonably re-create. you can also decide what you're willing to live without.

remember that the size of your guest list will affect a lot, as far as money is concerned.

i have a son from a previous marriage (which, honestly only lasted three months... so i feel like this is my first wedding), we're including him in many ways. i mentioned him, by name, on the invites (if you want the exact wording fm me), he's also walking me down the aisle along with my father, we'll be presenting him with a 'family medalion' during the ceremony, and at the reception i'll be dancing with him.
