second wedding

I am going to a second wedding of someone I work with this summer. Would you give the same you would if you were going to the 'first wedding?' The wedding is at the snapper INN

I would go by the same thing you would for a first wedding... Cover your plates with maybe a little extra.

I'm sure they would...The reason why I am asking is b/c they are having it at a smaller venue than a 'normal' wedding...I don't know I have to think about it.

I would say the same...I looked at the Snapper and it is not much cheaper (or not at all) than a normal wedding place.

I would have to think about this. They are prob older so they can afford to pay for the wedding. Alot of the time 2nd weddings are not as fancy. I would prob. pay for the plate.

I wouldn't let reflect what I give them in terms of a gift just because it's a second wedding

This is JMO but I would give enough to cover the plates, ONLY....but for a 1st wedding I cover the plates plus at least $100 extra.

BTW my cousin is getting married at snapper inn in september and he is paying $160 per plate for a SUNDAY!
