need your opinion: its my second wedding, do I aim for a simple dress, or go with whatever I like best?

I think you should go for any dress that you fall in love with... It's still your special day!

It doesn't matter if it's your first wedding or your 10th wedding it's still YOUR day and you should wear whatever you feel the most beautiful in!

It is my second wedding as well!! I decided to just pick a dress that I loved and went well with the overall feeling of my wedding. My wedding is in a country club, outdoor ceremony, in the summer. Obviously a ball gown would have been ridiculous! I finally decided on an ivory chiffon gown with a little lace and beading. It definitely says bride but it is not over the top. I also am having it made without a train, although I may have them do a subtle sweep train during alterations since it will be a mile too long on me. I hate that we feel like we have to second guess everything just because it is our second weddings!! No matter what it is your day...do whatever you want!!! HTH

It's my second wedding as well. My first wedding was very small and I wore a short dress.
I decided to go all out this time! I picked the big princess dress and I don't feel weird at all that it's my second wedding. This time it's the 'right' one. lol

Go with what you like.....it's your day. Just went through this myself...2nd marriage (a week fron tommorow) and having a small 70 person wedding at restaurant. I went with a very pretty Lazaro bridesmaide dress.....went for my fitting earlier this week......very pretty but, just wasn't feeling it.......last night I ran to Davids Bridal and tried a real wedding dress (not overdone but, simple and elegant) I saw online....put it on and felt so right.....well, I bought it and am so happy I did. Do what makes you happy....I don't believe in the rules of weddings....do what you like and can afford.....

omg! totally go for whatever you like best, its your wedding!! your the bride! and i have seen tons of brides who re-married, and wore beautiful gowns...good luckk! be comfortable and be happy!

its my second wedding too.. my first thoughts were to go with a simple, non traditional wedding dress but then i realized that this is my fiancee's first and as he says last wedding. he deserves the best and in my eyes..this is my first--that counts!1
