We are doing a sercet santa at my company. I picked a woman that is in her 40's. I only can spend up to $15. What should I get her???
I have no idea what she likes. I know her, but I dont know what she is into. Thanks, Scott

I have this too at work! Same amount..
Ideas i may use are:
blockbuster $10 rental card and i would put it in a tub of their popcorn with other movie candy...my mom has done this before, its so cute and looks nice. (you can wrap it all up in colored plastic wrap)
Also....$15 worth of scratch off lotto tickets
The body shop is selling an amazing cranberry scented candle as well...very nice idea.

Hmm I work with a lot of women in that age group.
This is what I would pick:
1. body lotions 2. socks 3. a cute piece of costume jewelry 4. a small cute tsoche 5. some gourmet foods

Scott, LIW must be really like one big happy family to you, because you consult us for every decision!
Bed bath abd Beyond has some cool gifts, like a martini set or a margarita set, smores maker, small fondue set, cute gift ideas tht are about $20, but with a 20% off or a $5 off coupon they'd be right in range.
Personally I HATE getting secret santa gifts that are like a basket form bath and body works. To me that's just like getting a gift certificate. it's like getting a guy a tie. JMO. I had a work SS and I went out and got something I knew the girl I had would love and then my person gave me like, lotions and I was disappointed, even tho I didn't mean to be

Scott, maybe you can ask some of her friends in the office what she likes.
I agree with Jen I wouldnt want to get a basket thing with soaps either.

I was looking at bombay company and I saw a really nice ring box that is musical, but i do not know if she likes dark wood. I like the bed bath and beyond idea.
I dont want to get anything like everyone else gets...$15 gift certificate to block buster, or a $15 gift certificate to starbucks....or $15 in lotto tickets...So boring. I like to be different.
Danielle thinks she would like some Silver earrings, or maybe a Pin...I am going to have to take a walk by her desk tomorrow and see what she is into.
Thanks for the ideas, Scott

Philosophy makes this great 3 in 1 cleanser, shampoo, conditioner in yummy flavors of the season like Pumpkin Pie Spice....about that price. Also, a GC for a manicure is a surefire winner.

She is a professional thin woman in her mid forties. I think she is married but im not sure if she has kids or not. I don't think she has an office, I am pretty sure she has a cubicle.

I like the idea of a blockbuster gift card an you can out it in a tin with microwave popcorn, candy and other movie-ish stuff.
