I found the secret to comfortable shoes....maybe many of you know, but I decided to share. I bought myself ballroom shoes as my wedding shoes. They actually have a separate section for wedding shoes in stores that sell competitive ballroom and latin shoes. They are incredible comfortable and I figured if they can manage to dance in them nonstop for hours I can certainly wear them to walk and dance in for a few hours. I still bought platform flip flops as back up, but I don't think I'll need them anymore.

actually, there's one in the city. WorldTone. They were really nice and helpful. Its on 7th avenue between 23rd and 24th. They sell shoes to all the big shows on tv and broadway shows. You can also look on their website, but honestly I didn't like anything on the site. They had a much bigger selection at the store. What i liked most is that they let you take your time....I kept walking around back and forth to make sure they are comfortable. http://www.worldtonedance.com/
