I have looked everywhere and am totally shocked that over 2k is the norm, I feel like that is alot of money, am I missing something here?? I am a newlywed for gods sakes Any tips?

Sectionals are expenisive, but get this.... in May we went to Macy's funiture store just browsing because we were tired of the crappy futon we were using. We saw a sectional we liked and when we saw the price we were really confused, but it was CHEAP! it turned out that they messed up the pricing list and they honored it beause we were willing to buy it on the spot so we got a $2000 sofa/ loveseat sectional for $895!!!! We are kicking ourselves now for not getting the chaise also but, what a deal we got!!

Try the furniture stores on 110. Furniture now carried the FLexsteel line and they are awesome. Comfy yet indestructable!

My FH and I just went through the same SECTIONAL SEARCH!!
We did the '110 furniture route' and found NOTHING that we liked. Actually 'The Place' had something that was decent, but it was still on the high end of our price range. We didn't want to settle, so on our way home my FH suggested we stop at Ikea just to see what they had. Well, we found our PERFECT corner sectional there for only $1000!!! We love it, it only took a few weeks to come in, we were able to pick it up (no mandatory delivery charges like other places!) and it's exactly what we wanted. Sturdy and comfortable! I would definitely recommend them!!

Think of it as two sofas and you can see why they are expensive.
But one of my freinds went to Macy Furniture Outlet on Glen Cove road and bought the MOST comfortable sectional in the world. It was originally $1200 or so but the sales person told them about a sale starting the next day and they ended up getting it for $900!!
Keep in mind the pieces are not always together in the showroom.

I got mine at Huffman Koos when they were having a major sale. It was less than 2 grand and no interest no payments for a year. Good luck!

OK you guys sound like you got great deals, just wondering what are good name brands anyhow?? I liked this 'Lane' Sectional at JCpenneys I am in the process of trying to see if I can find it online or from my north carolina contact.
