See now this is why I freak out about sending something in the mail

I just found out that one of FH's cousins in Boston did not receive their invitation. I know for a fact that it was in the stack that went out on Feb 26th because I checked them all one last time 5 minutes before walking to the post office to drop them.

Now I'm going to freak out that there are other people who have not received their invitations!

What should I do - send another one?

I would call her and ask her if she did not receive it. I would be hesitant to sent another just in case she thinks she's an 'after thought'.

arg i totally fear this too.

How would I or do I find out if someone didn't get an invite? When I get all the responses and I didn't get one from them? Then it seems too late if I send them one - as if they (like another bride said) was an after thought!

But i agree - just call! As a cousin, I am assuming she knows she is invited and wouldn't think other then some mail type issue occured.

Oh this person (family rather) knows they are invited. He (it's a guy by the way LOL) just sent me a message on FB to let me know they still didn't get it. I really don't understand why though - I definitely had the address correct and if I didn't it would have gotten returned to us, which it didn't.

I just don't know if I should send another one.

I would wait cus i sent my friend a save the date from ny to nj and it ended up takin 3 weeks and i thought it was lost

yup! same thing happened to me!!! My kids babysitter never got hers!!! I ended up mailing out another one for her.

see and that's make me even more worried because we are missing 7 RSVPs from overseas and those were sent out 2 weeks prior to the rest of the invitations! I frigin hate the mail!

it happens.

i sent 4 STDs to my uncles house because all three of his kids are adults and live there.

they got 3 STDs. Still waiting on that 4th one.....6 months later

Every time I have sent something in the mail, in large quantities--STD's, Christmas cards, my son's birthday invites--at least one to two people did not get them.
That's the USPS for ya....

LOL sorry - not sure why I made HIM a HER.

But I would just send another one - appologize in the FB message back and say if you get 2 in the mail we just REALLY want you to be there.

Or maybe wait it out a week or 2 and then send it. Like you said, they know they are invited so it's not a question about them being an after thought.

yeah I emailed him back and told him to let us know if he doesn't get it by the end of this week. We'll send another one out so they have it but I'll just accept the verbal RSVP so I can mark them down.
