Are you planning to see FH before ceremony for pics? At first, I wasn't planning on it, but we met with our first photographer and he really recommends it.
I am torn. I love the idea of him seeing me coming down the aisle - but I also want to attend the entire cocktail hour....

Brian and I want to be able to enjoy at least some of the cocktail hour, so we decided to see each other beforehand and take pictures. We're getting married at our hall, so we have no time between the ceremony and the reception. The photographer is going to get our reactions when we see each other for the first time, and I know that it will be different and more amazing when we see each other as I go down the aisle.

Well being we have like 5 hours between the church and reception.. Im not worried about not getting enough pics.. I just feel that I want him to see me first when Im walking down the aisle... I want us to have that moment.
5 hours!!!!! oh my gosh what are you going to do in all that time?? Seems like a lot to me.

I was SOOOOO against it and there was no way to talk me into it. Well I guess there was a way bc I have since decided to do it bc Ive spoken to many brides who have and they say it was the BEST decision theyve made

We are seeing each other before our wedding too. My feelings is it's your wedding day NOT your wedding MOMENT. I'm getting married and having my reception at the same place. I refuse to miss all of my cocktail hr. We are having our first meeting on the beach and we can capture it with pictures and video. I don't want our first time seeing each other to be the moment we get married. I want to be able to share and enjoy it without a crowd around.
I couldnt agree more. The day goes by too quick to miss all the fun and excitement takig pics

We are having the ceremony at the hall, with the CH immediately following. If we were to take pics after the ceremony, we would miss the CH and part of the reception, probably. We will set up our own private moment, where we see each other for the first time in our 'Wedding gear' which will be captured by the potographer and videographer. I also think it will calm my nerves to see him before the ceremony. I also think we will have that 'feeling' all over again when I walk down the aisle. Its one thing to see me in the wedding dress, its another to see me in it walking down the aisle. This way we will have two 'moments' . Also there is no way we are going to miss CH!!

I want to get all of the pictures taken ahead of time so I can enjoy the party. I actually want him to see me getting ready -- towards the end, I want him to come in and help me with my pearls. It is one of my must have pics.
