Seigerman's Furniture - Review ...
I have seen some of the bad experiences you have all had lately and I wanted to give a 'thumbs up' to Seigerman's.
FH & I ordered a couch and loveseat there about 6 weeks ago. The salesperson promised samples in the mail in a week. They never came and when I called him he said he'd reorder, and they still never came again.
So I went into the store pesonally because I was ticked off. Anyway, I spoke to the manager there and he patiently explained to me that the salespeople promise samples but the manufacturer doesn't always have them available. Instead of the manufacturer letting the store know, they just don't send them and customers are pissed off. He said was sorry that the salesperson promised them when he shouldn't have. He was really nice about it even though he could tell I was really annoyed.
So he found a sample of my loveseat fabric in the manufacter's file and then proceeded to take the store sample for my sofa and give it to me to 'borrow.' I thought that was really nice and said to forget it because I didn't want him to lose a sale because I had the fabric. He told me to take it and return it in a week. Well, I was so glad I did because I was able to buy curtains because I had the fabric with me.
I got a call last week that the couches were in (5 weeks as they promised!) so I scheduled a delivery for this past Saturday. On Friday they called and said between 7-11 a.m. You know what that usually means - late afternoon because they are never ontime! BUT AT 7 A.M. on the DOT they rang my doorbell and delivered the furniture. They took my front door off and put it back on, even though FH was there and could have done it, the guy said, don't worry about it I'll take care of it.
They were gone by 7:20 a.m.!
They really did the right thing by us and we were pleased with the turnaround time and the customer service we received.
