I already feel fat and pale looking, buy this time every year I already start with a little self tanner just for a healthy glow, anyone use it during pregnancy or has your doctor ever given you any advice? I don't dare ask mine, he's too conservative, he says no hair dye, no artificial nail products, etc.

I don't think it's a good idea. There are chemicals that soak into your skin that could be harmful to your baby. JMO though.
My doctor is not conservative at all...he told me that it was okay to go regular tanning (in a tanning bed). I was like
I'm longing for the sun too! I can't wait to loose this pasty white 'glow' that I have now...

I heard that tanning salons have facial tanners.. that way, if you're pg, you don't have to worry about baking yourself, and hit the main point to tan... your face.

Im shocked that your Dr. ok'd tanning... a friend of mine manages a salon, and when I asked her if people usually do...she says they dont allow it... obviously if they dont know its a different story, but for those whom it is obvious they turn there business away...
I would read whats on the bottle of the self tanner... My dr. says over the counter things that dont say if preg. ask a physician blah blah blah its usually fine...also I hear the spray on tans work really well... Not sure of many salons that do them though

I know...my doctor is crazy...good thing there are 4 other doctors that work there.
