Re: self tanners?
i've used the coppertone effortless color in the past and it's pretty natural, but i found that the jergens lotion goes on much easier and is super natural if you put it on once.... but i found that if you put it on again the second day it can be a little much
(i am also very fair skinned)
i recommend the jergens lotion!

i used it maybe 2x a week but its time to do it again... it really did make me look a lot tanner, while not making me look unnaturally tan

i'm also very fair & i like the Dove Energy Glow - the only thing is it is a gradual glow/tan so you have to sort of build up the color. Avoid the Neutrogena Foam - very streaky & orange!

I like the neutrogena build a tan -- it looks natural and starts out light, you can put more on every day or two until you get tan enough.

Clarins is the best self tanner. I've tried them all and I always go back to it. I'm also very pale, and it gives me natural color, never streaks, and doesn't rub off on your clothes.

Re: self tanners?
I use Nivea sun-kissed firming glow lotion when I get out of the shower and every week say 1x per week I use the Loreal Sublime Bronze towelettes for self-tanner. The lotion keeps you looking even and natural. The Loreal is the best self-tanner I have found. You just open the packet and use the towel so it always comes out even. You can get either of those at any drug store. For the face, use Lancome Flash Bronzer at Sephora.
